Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VaultDiff ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the hosted VaultDiff application at vaultdiff.com.

Use of Service

VaultDiff is provided to assist data analysts, model risk professionals, and audit teams with file comparison and the generation of audit evidence for financial, regulatory, and model risk use cases. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that any files you upload comply with your organisation's data classification and handling policies. Do not upload files containing personally identifiable information (PII) or regulated personal data to the hosted Service. For sensitive or regulated data, use VaultDiff Enterprise deployed within your own infrastructure.

Verification of Output

VaultDiff generates comparison reports intended to assist qualified analysts. All output — including pass/fail results, mismatch summaries, numeric comparisons, and SHA-256 audit hashes — should be reviewed and independently verified by a qualified analyst before use in any regulatory submission, compliance filing, internal audit documentation, or model risk review.

The Service does not constitute professional financial, compliance, or legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any work product derived from VaultDiff output.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VaultDiff and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
